My new favorite things

An alternate title to this blogpost could be...
My new favorite corona virus days things....
But then corona has been hanging on for more than just days....

So, I'll give it another alternate title....
My new favorite random things while out on a walk in corona times...

One of the social distancing safe ways to meet with our friends here in Malmö is to meet at a destination and go for a walk.  Which is exactly what we did last Friday.  Our day off, our sabbath day, was shared with a delightful walking companion who we haven't seen for some time.  And these were some of our favorite random things that we saw while out on a walk in corona times...

Before we even walked out the door from our house...look who was out driving the work truck across the street from us....or at least he looks like he wants to drive!

Is it a horse?  A cow?  Of course, it's a statue of a horse with an old fashioned dial up telephone for a head....whatever!  Seen on the playground at the local elementary school; makes me wonder what kids think when they walk past this one!

We stood and watched a team of guys with this big forklift take this yacht out of the water in our local harbor

And then the boat got shifted over and placed onto the blocks where they'll do the work that needs to be done.  Fascinating to watch, for sure!

Spring doesn't stop because of corona....
