Cleaning off my desktop photos

So, when I find time to update the blog (and believe me, we're trying to get into a better rhythm about that for sure!), I usually download a bunch of photos that represent the last days of life and ministry and share something about those photos.  A picture can share a thousand words, or something like that!

Today I'm working hard on cleaning up my desktop and there are some random photos sitting there just waiting to be used up somewhere.  So here goes...
Steve giving an update during worship after the Limhamnfestivalen.  I love the way the painting of Jesus is just right there, over his shoulder, reminding Steve of why we're doing what we're doing.  It's all about Jesus!

Love, love, love this picture!  It's the baptismal font at Wesleykyrkan, one that was rediscovered during a renovation of the church that took place in 2016.  What a great experience to share this holy place with those who came before the church and God and confessed their new faith in Jesus.

This one is for our Antwerp peeps.  Anyone who knows the gardening/house decorations/animal supply store called Van Gastel's in Ekeren will recognize this gardening shop in southern Sweden as Van Gastel's on steroids!

This is from the magazine that had the best recipe for a midsommar tårta (midsummer cake) here in Sweden.  It just screams Sweden and midsommar and all that's good about Sweden in the summer....strawberries, cream, cake....the list goes on!

This is what often shows up at a breakfast meeting here in southern Sweden...which makes participating in the breakfast meeting a bit difficult if one is being careful about gluten free, dairy free and sugar free breakfast options!

This (I'm not sure what you would call it) exhibit?? piece of art?? ~ took this picture in Lund, just near to the university campus in the shadows of the Lund Cathedral.  Sad to me that someone thinks heaven is a place where nothing ever happens.  What are they thinking??!!!  I can't wait to get to heaven!

And now perhaps the desktop is in better shape.
Time to move on to the next administrative task.
Newsletters perhaps??
